In these cases, Local Planning Authority may ask for a noise assessment to ensure that their own noise criteria for example noise levels in habitable rooms not exceeding 35 dB LAeq,T(07:00-23:00) and 30 dB LAeq,T(23:00-07:00) hours, will be met along with the requirements of relevant standards such as 'Planning Policy Guidance 24 - Planning and noise' (PPG24).
